Details required immediately by the Emergency Services are printed directly onto the card and include:

• Your Name
• An emergency Contact Telephone number
• Serious Medical History
• Any allergies

These items are really important to Emergency Services as firstly, it confirms that they are treating the correct person in the photograph and also alerts them to any serious medical conditions such as Asthma, Emphysema, Diabetes or any conditions from which you suffer.

The first thing that Emergency Services do upon arrival is to assume you have allergies - they don't know any better so it's safer to assume you have them. Unfortunately, not knowing what allergies - if any - makes their job more and more difficult. However, the card will let them know if you have any allergies for example, Penicillin, Aspirin or even more importantly none known.

Any other details that are important but perhaps not so crucial are kept on the secure database. Emergency Services only have to text or go online with your UNIQUE verify code and retrieve details such as:

• Your G.P's name and contact details
• Your blood group
• A second Emergency Contact Telephone number
