Does this service comply with the Data Protection Act 1998?This service is satisfied under Schedule 2 Condition 6 of the data protection principles. What is the cost of an ID Request?Any costs are borne by the person requesting the ID-Verify service and are shown on the reverse of the ID Card presented. Typically these charges per request are: 50p (plus your standard network rate) from a Mobile Phone or free from www.id-verify.co.uk. What is delivered to my Mobile Phone?Upon a request being received we send a WAP push message to your Mobile Phone (which is used to deliver ring tones). You will then be directed to a Page that will contain the person's details. Generally, this will consist of an image of the person, first name and the employer’s name, but this may vary depending on the employer. In the case of phones that cannot receive WAP push messages, a normal SMS message will be sent containing the URL. What is shown on the website?The same information will be shown as on a Mobile Phone.
